No. belegbuddy runs in the browser, on your phone just as on your computer. Put the “Photograph receipt” link on your home screen and the camera opens with a single tap.
Yes. AI analysis can be switched off per receipt box. You then file receipts and enter the data yourself; exports, lists and everything else work exactly the same.
You link your number once using a code you get in belegbuddy. After that you send photos or PDFs to belegbuddy and get a short summary back as an image: what was booked, with which business partner, and whether everything checks out.
Yes, as CAMT, MT940, CSV or Excel. If you only have a PDF, such as a credit card statement, the AI reads the transactions and checks the balances. belegbuddy then suggests matching receipts for each transaction.
No, and it isn’t meant to. belegbuddy collects, reads and organises your receipts and hands them over as Excel, CSV or PDF. Bookkeeping and advice stay where they are today.
The easiest way is an export: a list with a link to every receipt, or all receipts in one PDF. From the Solo plan your accountant can also have their own login, and from Business, for example, with the “read-only” role.
Yes, that is what receipt boxes are for. Each has its own email address, categories and users. How many receipt boxes are included depends on the plan.
After the contract ends you have 30 days to export everything. After that we delete the data, unless the law requires us to keep it.
Yes. During setup the AI suggests the right VAT rates for Austria or Germany, and German VAT IDs are checked via VIES as well. The company register lookup is only available for Austrian companies.
Yes, both the QR codes printed by Austrian cash registers and payment QR codes on invoices. belegbuddy also uses the cash register ID to recognise the business partner.
Yes. The depreciation calculator creates the yearly amounts, straight-line or declining-balance, optionally with the half-year rule. The fixed-asset register shows what is depreciated each year.
PDF files and images. For AI analysis, a file may be up to 2 MB on the Starter plan and up to 6 MB from Solo upwards. Very small files, such as logos from email signatures, are filtered out automatically.
