If you work on your own, receipts usually get done on a Sunday evening before the deadline. belegbuddy is meant to cancel that Sunday: photograph the receipt when you get it and let the app do the rest.

The receipt in the glovebox

Petrol station, hardware store, office supplies: the slips end up in your jacket, the car or your bag, and invoices from online shops in your inbox. With belegbuddy you photograph the receipt at the till or send it via WhatsApp. Online invoices are forwarded to your receipt box’s address, or you enter that address in the shop’s customer account in the first place.

Confirm instead of typing

The AI reads supplier, date, amounts and tax and turns them into a booking suggestion with net amount and input VAT. You have a quick look and press Insert, or swipe on your phone. If you would rather enter things yourself, just switch the AI off.

What else you need as a sole trader

Depreciating your laptop over three years? The depreciation calculator creates the yearly amounts.
Import your bank statement as CSV or PDF and belegbuddy matches the receipts to the transactions.
The AI recognises the invoices you write yourself as income.
Rental property or side project? A second receipt box keeps everything separate.

And your accountant?

They get a list as Excel or CSV with a link to every receipt, or all receipts in a single PDF. On the Solo plan they can also have their own login. belegbuddy doesn’t try to replace your accountant, it makes their job easier.

What it costs

Starter is free: one receipt box, 250 receipts, 250 MB. Solo costs €9.90 a month with annual billing and comes with two receipt boxes, two users per box and the AI chat. More in the price overview and under What makes belegbuddy different.
